Types of Investment Portfolios
High Risk, High Return Portfolio
For high risk clients, their investments will be in a ratio of 70:30 in favour of shares. In 2007, our high risk investors returned an average in excess of 29.80% whereas in 2008, they made more than 34.8%.
Low Risk/ Moderate Growth and Income Portfolio
These are low risk investors who do not want to play the stock market because of the risk, yet wish to make modest gains, largely from fixed income securities. We invest 30:70 of their investments in favour of money market instruments. In 2007 their return averaged in excess of 16.50%. In 2008, their investments returned more than 20.7% on average.
Balance Growth Portfolio
Investors in this category have their funds placed in a 50:50 ratio (shares and money market instruments). In 2007, they enjoyed a return in excess of 22.00%. In 2008, they made an average of more than 25.5% return on investments.

Investment Requirements
How much can I invest?
For residents, a minimum of GH�2,000.00 for individuals and GH�5,000.00 for institutions. For non-residents, US$2,000 for individuals and US$5,000 for institutions
Can I make withdrawals from my investment?
For accounts in excess of GH�10,000, the investor may withdraw at anytime by giving a three (3)- day notice and after a year of investment.
For accounts less than GH�10,000, a withdrawal may be made twice a calendar year, one in each half of the year when needed, with a three (3)- day notice and after a year of investment.
