About us

SEM Group Limited was incorporated originally as SEM Financial Group Limited in 1999 as the holding company for two subsidiaries:

• SEM International Associates Limited.
• SEM Capital Management Limited.

SEM International Associates Limited is a consulting firm with a focus on Corporate Advisory Services, Public Sector Consulting and Training.

SEM Capital Management is a licensed investment advisor regulated by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Ghana. We offer investment management for individual and institutional clients.

Our two operating subsidiaries work closely together. SEM Capital Management benefits from the financial research expertise of the consulting firm which supports investment research. Our financial consulting draws heavily of financial market expertise built as a result of our investment management activities.

SEM Group is led by two principals:

• Sam Mensah, Ph.D, is the Group Chief Executive, Managing Consultant of SEM International Associates and Managing Director of SEM Capital Management Limited.
• Ebenezer Barnes, M.B.A. is Group Vice President and Practice Director for SEM International Associates Limited.

Our offices are located in the central business district of Accra in the elegant Trust Towers building on Farrar Avenue.
